We are a firm of Solicitors based in Ibrox, Glasgow, specialising in criminal defence work. This is the only type of work we undertake. We have a wide experience of representing clients charged with all types of criminal offences, in High, Sheriff and Justice of the Peace courts throughout Scotland.
Our Principal is Ann Ritchie who is a Solicitor Advocate, qualified to represent clients in the High Court of Justiciary and the Criminal Appeal Court as well as Sheriff and Justice of the Peace courts throughout the country. She is a very experienced pleader in the Scottish courts and has conducted many thousands of criminal trials.
She has 24 years experience in criminal defence work and is a former President of the Glasgow Bar Association. She has appeared on BBC1′s Politics Scotland programme, and BBC Radio's Good Morning Scotland discussing criminal legal aid, contracting in criminal firms and the issue of the abolition of corroboration. She has given evidence before the Scottish Parliament's Justice Committee and has presented seminars and talks relating to many aspects of criminal law.
As a firm we are registered to provide legal aid to those who qualify and are happy to discuss private rates with those who do not. If you have been charged with a criminal or are suspected of committing an offence then you should seek advice from a specialist immediately.
